About FoxletPDF

Little tools. Big PDF help.

FoxletPDF is a small collection of PDF tools for everyday jobs: putting files together, pulling pages out, turning sideways scans the right way up, and turning photos into a tidy PDF. It is built and run by MetaFox Softwares.

Why we built it

Most of us have needed to combine a couple of PDFs or remove one page, only to find that the quick online tool wants an account, adds a watermark, or uploads a private document to a server somewhere. We wanted the simple version: open the page, do the job, download the file, done.

What makes FoxletPDF different

How it works

FoxletPDF uses well-known open-source libraries: PDF.js to show page previews, and pdf-lib to create and change PDF files. Both run in your browser, with the heavy lifting done in a background worker so the page stays responsive.

Server tools run on our own server with open-source software: LibreOffice for Office files, pikepdf and PDFium for PDFs, and Tesseract for OCR. Summaries and data extraction use simple, rule-based methods rather than AI.
