How to convert a PDF to JPG
- Choose your PDF. Pick a file with the button above or drag it onto the box.
- Pick a format and quality. JPG keeps files small; PNG keeps text crisp. Choose Standard for most uses, or High if you plan to print.
- Choose pages. Convert every page, or type the pages you need, such as “1-3, 7”.
- Convert and download. Each page becomes one image. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Tips for great page images
- Sharing on social media or chat? Small or Standard quality JPGs upload faster and look fine on screens.
- Need readable small print? PNG at High quality keeps fine text sharp, at the cost of bigger files.
- Very large pages? Huge posters are scaled down slightly so the image stays within what browsers can handle.
- Want the reverse? Images to PDF turns JPG and PNG files back into a PDF.
Your files stay on your device
Like every FoxletPDF tool, this one runs inside your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed with open-source PDF libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js), and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored. See our privacy policy for details.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to convert it?
No. Pages are drawn as images by your own browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
What's the difference between JPG and PNG?
JPG files are smaller and great for photos and scans. PNG files are larger but keep text and lines perfectly sharp.
What does DPI mean here?
Dots per inch: how many pixels each inch of the page becomes. 150 DPI suits screens and everyday use; 300 DPI is better for printing.
Can I convert just one page?
Yes. Choose “Only some pages” and type the page number.
Why can't I open my PDF?
It may be password-protected or damaged. FoxletPDF will say which; remove the password or re-save the file and try again.
