Tips for a faithful PDF
- Fonts. Common fonts are installed on the server. If your document uses an unusual font, a similar one is used instead, which can change line breaks.
- Check the layout. Open the PDF and check a few pages, especially complex tables and charts.
- Password-protected files. Remove the password in the original app first; encrypted Office files aren't accepted.
- Private documents. This tool runs on FoxletPDF's server. Files are deleted right after you download the result. For tools that never upload anything, look for ones without the “Uses FoxletPDF server” label.

It’s processed with open-source software, kept only in temporary memory, and deleted as soon as you download the result — or after 15 minutes if you don’t. Yes. This tool needs FoxletPDF's server, so your file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted as soon as you download the result — or after 15 minutes if you don't. We never keep copies or look at the contents.
Which formats work?
DOCX, DOC, ODT or RTF. The file type is checked from its contents, not just its name.
Are macros run?
No. Macros are disabled, and macro-enabled files (.docm) aren't accepted.
