How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF. Pick the file with the button above or drag it onto the box.
  2. Select pages. Tick the pages you want, or type numbers such as “2, 5-7” and press Select.
  3. Choose the output. Keep the pages together in one PDF, or make a separate PDF for each page.
  4. Extract and download. Select “Extract pages”, then download your file or a ZIP of all of them.

Tips for extracting pages

  • Pages keep their order. Selected pages are saved in their original order. Use Organize Pages afterwards if you need a different order.
  • Select a long run quickly. Typing “10-40” is faster than ticking thirty boxes.
  • Sharing part of a document? Extract just the pages someone needs instead of sending the whole file.
  • Your original is untouched. Extracting makes a new file; nothing is removed from the PDF on your device.

Your files stay on your device

Like every FoxletPDF tool, this one runs inside your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed with open-source PDF libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js), and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored. See our privacy policy for details.

Frequently asked questions

Is extracting pages private?

Yes. Your PDF is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Can I get each page as its own file?

Yes. Choose “A separate PDF for each selected page” and download them individually or as a ZIP.

What's the difference from Split PDF?

Split PDF cuts the whole document into parts. Extract Pages keeps only the pages you pick.

Does extracting lower the quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, with no re-compression.

Why can't I open my PDF?

It may be password-protected or damaged. FoxletPDF will tell you which; remove the password or re-save the file and try again.
