How to rotate PDF pages

  1. Choose your PDF. Pick the file with the button above or drag it onto the box. A thumbnail of every page appears.
  2. Rotate the pages that need it. Use the left and right buttons under a page to turn it a quarter turn at a time, or rotate every page with “All left” and “All right”.
  3. Apply. Select “Apply rotation” to create the corrected PDF.
  4. Download. Rename the file if you like and save it to your device.

Tips for rotating

  • Scanned documents often mix orientations. Check every thumbnail; one sideways page is easy to miss.
  • Rotation is lossless. FoxletPDF changes the page's rotation setting rather than redrawing it, so nothing gets blurrier.
  • Links and form fields are kept. Rotating edits your PDF in place, so bookmarks, links and fillable fields stay where they were.
  • Changed your mind? “Reset” puts every page back the way it was before you apply.

Your files stay on your device

Like every FoxletPDF tool, this one runs inside your browser. Your file is read from your device, processed with open-source PDF libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js), and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored. See our privacy policy for details.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to rotate a confidential PDF here?

Yes. The file never leaves your device — rotation happens entirely in your browser.

Will rotating reduce quality?

No. Only the page's orientation setting changes; text and images are untouched.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Use the buttons under that page. Pages you don't touch stay as they are.

Does the rotation stick when I open the file elsewhere?

Yes. The rotation is saved into the PDF, so every PDF reader shows the pages the new way up.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then rotate the unlocked copy.
