How to edit a PDF for free, with no signup or watermark
Last updated: · यह गाइड हिंदी में पढ़ें
You don’t need paid software for most PDF changes. With the FoxletPDF editor you can fix a typing mistake, add text or a photo, and sign, all in your browser with no account and no watermark.
How to edit a PDF
- Open the PDF editor and choose your file. It stays on your device.
- To change existing text, click it and type. The whole line opens for editing.
- To add new text, click an empty spot on the page and start typing.
- Use the toolbar to add images, shapes, signatures or form fields.
- Save, then open the downloaded file to check it.
What you can do
- Find and replace a word across the document.
- Duplicate, copy and paste items, and change their order or opacity.
- Type symbols such as ₹ and write in Hindi and other languages.
- Add fillable form fields.
An important limit: old text isn’t really deleted
A PDF isn’t like a Word file. When you edit existing text, the editor covers the old words and writes the new ones on top. It looks right, but the old words are still inside the file and someone could recover them.
So to hide a phone number, account number or anything else private, don’t just edit or cover it. Use Redact PDF, which is built to really remove that content.
Which tool should you use?
- Sign a document: Sign PDF
- Fill in an existing form: Fill PDF Form
- Rearrange or remove pages: Organize PDF
- Lots of rewriting: PDF to Word, then edit it there
Only change documents you’re entitled to change. Altering official certificates, marksheets or statements can be a crime.
