How to sign a PDF without printing it
Last updated: · यह गाइड हिंदी में पढ़ें
You don’t have to print, sign and scan a document any more. You can add your signature to a PDF from your phone or computer, and both the document and your signature stay on your device.
How to sign
- Open Sign PDF and choose your file.
- Draw your signature with a finger or mouse, or type your name.
- Drag it to the right place on the page.
- Save the PDF and open it to check the result.
Tips for a neat signature
- On a computer, a trackpad or mouse can look shaky. Drawing on a phone is often neater.
- Zoom in before you save to make sure it sits on the signature line.
- Keep the unsigned original, in case you need to sign it again.
Is it the same as a digital signature?
No, and it matters. This tool places a picture of your signature on the page, which is a simple electronic signature. A digital signature (DSC) is different: it uses a certificate from an authorised provider, and government portals, tenders and company filings often require one. FoxletPDF can’t create a DSC.
If you aren’t sure what’s accepted, ask the organisation that wants the document. For anything with legal weight, take advice from a qualified professional.
