How to convert a Word document to PDF
Last updated: · यह गाइड हिंदी में पढ़ें
Colleges, employers and offices usually ask for a PDF so your document looks the same on every device. Here are two easy ways to make one.
Option 1: save as PDF from Word
If you have Microsoft Word, use File, then Save As (or Export), and choose PDF. Google Docs can do the same through File, then Download. This is usually the most faithful copy, because it uses the fonts on your own device, and nothing is uploaded to FoxletPDF.
Option 2: use Word to PDF
This is handy on a phone or on a computer without Office.
- Open Word to PDF and choose your document.
- Select Convert to PDF.
- Download the PDF.
The file goes to our server for conversion and is deleted after download or within 15 minutes.
Check it before you send it
- Fonts: if your document uses a font our server doesn’t have, another one is used in its place, and lines can shift. Old Hindi fonts such as Kruti Dev are especially risky, so use Unicode Hindi if you can.
- Page breaks: make sure tables and headings haven’t moved to a new page.
- Links and images: make sure they’re all there.
